About us

Twenty years of experience.

AISA & CO. develops woven fabrics for international brands: cotton at the core and, from AW 27·28, wool qualities too. Each season we build collections for womenswear and menswear, and tailor qualities to a brand's own needs.

We work like a mill. Our own team runs development, production planning, finishing and quality control, with dedicated production capacity and a network of long-standing partner mills in Türkiye. That keeps runs short and lead times tight, so brands can order closer to the season.

FAQ

Common questions.

Ask us directly →
What does AISA & Co. specialise in?

Woven cotton and cotton-blend fabrics for international fashion brands and, from AW 27·28, wool and wool-blend qualities too: seasonal collections for womenswear and menswear, tailored development, sampling and bulk production, with our own production team and partner mills in Türkiye.

What makes your collections different?

A European design eye, our own TouchLab finishes and handfeels, and responsible sourcing. Each season is built with designers and shaped by client feedback.

Can you develop custom fabrics?

Yes. We develop custom colours, textures and finishes, from hand looms and CAD studies to lab dips and bespoke handfeels from the TouchLab range.

What are your minimum order quantities?

Sampling is usually 50–100 m per colour, with a sampling surcharge, in about 3–4 weeks. Production starts at 1,000 m per quality, which can be split over two colours. Basics we keep in greige can be produced from 500 m. Lower minimums are possible for special collections and new markets.

How do you control quality?

A 4-point inspection system, from yarn selection to final inspection. For special fabrics we also run garment trials before bulk.

Do you offer sustainable fabrics and certifications?

Yes. Cotton qualities can be certified GOTS, OCS, GRS or BCI on request. Blends can also be made with recycled or certified fibres; the certification has to be fixed at the start of development.

Organic or conventional cotton: what is the difference?

Organic cotton is grown without GMO seeds, synthetic pesticides or fertilisers; conventional cotton uses standard farming. Both have a place. The right choice depends on your sustainability goals, performance needs and budget.

Which cotton fabric is best for shirts?

There is no single answer. Long-staple cotton suits premium shirting, and poplin, oxford, pinpoint oxford, twill and stretch cotton each give a different look and handle. Lighter weights work for summer, medium weights all year, and the finish changes the hand again.

What is garment dyeing?

The garment is sewn from fabric prepared for dyeing and coloured afterwards, which gives softer, lived-in tones that vary slightly from piece to piece. Piece dyeing colours the fabric before cutting. We offer both.
